General information about Arum Lily (Arum):Arum Lily (Arum) is a tuber forming perennial, usually with broad arrow-shaped leaves. Some species of Arum Lily already show their foliage before winter. Funnel-shaped white spathes appear in spring or early summer. After flowering the plants retreat underground only to re-appear again in autumn with a stem covered in orange berries. Some Arum Lily have marbled foliage. They are true shade plants which combine well with Solomon's Seal (Polygonatum), Japanese Forest Grass (Hakonechloa) and Autumn Fern (Dryopteris erythrosora). Arum Lily is toxic in all parts and some people get skin irritation on contact.Italian Arum - Arum italicum 'Marmoratum'
