Prairie Clover  (Dalea)

Prairie Clover (Dalea) has some resemblance with Plantain, the main difference being that the flowers of Prairie Clover are colourful. These are prairie plants which grow well in a sunny spot as long as not too moist. Prairie Clover flowers late in the season. They are a welcome addition to the rockery because many rockery plants will flower in spring and early summer. Prairie Clover is also suitable for in the prairie garden planted between low ornamental grasses, such as Blue Fescue (Festuca glauca). Planting in larger groups works best.
