Celandine Poppy (Stylophorum) is a plant with beautiful yellow flowers that resemble both a poppy and Celandine. Celandine Poppy occurs naturally in North America and China where it grows in moist forests. Therefore, give the plant a place in the (half) shade in your garden. They prefer to grow in normally moist soil, but once well established, Celandine Poppy can also tolerate drier soil. Celandine Poppy usually does not live very long, but with a bit of luck the plants will self-seed.
