Chamois Cress  (Pritzelago)

Chamois Cress (Pritzelago) is a mat forming plant, well suited to the rockery where it will form nice cushions. Chamois Cress does well in the sun but to avoid scorching, some shade in the middle of the day is appreciated. Chamois Cress wants normal moist soil and good drainage, especially in the winter. Good is to plant them on a slight slope if you can. Some light cutting back after its first flowering ensures that Chamois Cress stays nice and compact. Other ground covers which Chamois Cress can be combined with are Cushion Bolax (Azorella) and Brassbuttons (Leptinella).
