Monkshood (Aconitum)

Monkshood (Aconitum) is a plant that used to be used a lot in the medical care. Not without risk, as the plant is poisonous! Monkshood is easily recognizable by its flowers, they look like a monks hood. They have a similar way of growth and foliage as Larkspur (Delphinium).
