Clematis - Clematis

Everybody knows Clematis as a climbing plant but there are also some low growing species very suited to the border. In our web shop you will find the smaller and wild species of Clematis. Plant them near other plants with strong stems or let them droop over a wall. Make sure that Clematis is planted in the sun or half shade, but that the roots are shaded. You could plant a small evergreen shrub in front of it. Plant Clematis in a humus rich soil with enough drainage. Some added, dried farm manure in spring is very much appreciated.
