Dandelion  (Taraxacum)

We all know Dandelion (Taraxacum), but in addition to the yellow variety, there are also varieties with white or pink flowers, often with a beautiful yellow heart. All Dandelion varieties develop a round bulb with seed fluff after flowering. If you want to prevent Dandelion from spreading, remove the spent flowers from the plant in time. This also ensures that Dandelion blooms over a longer period. Dandelion leaf can be used well in the kitchen. The taste is best before the plant flowers. The flowers of Dandelion can be used as an edible garnish in salads. Dandelion is not picky about location. Provide adequate nutrition and avoid a location on dry soil or deep shade.
