Nightshades  (Solanum)

Nightshade (Solanum) is a large genus of plants, distributed all over the world. Tomatoes, aubergines and potatoes are also Nightshade species. Some Nightshade varieties are suitable for the garden or in pots on the terrace. The genus Nightshade also includes vining and climbing species, such as Bittersweet nightshade (Solanum dulcamara).
