Open days in 2026:  Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September.

Have you always wanted to see where the plants from our online shop are grown?
If so, we warmly invite you to our open days at Staudengärtnerei Heutinck in Borculo!

Staudengärtnerei Heutinck is one of the larger perennial nurseries in Europe, with several branches in the Netherlands and Germany. Its head office is located in Borculo in the Netherlands.
The range comprises more than 6,000 plant species, of which an average of 3,000 varieties are available from stock. Staudengärtnerei Heutinck supplies these perennials to commercial nurseries, webshops and green spaces throughout Europe.
As we would like to give you an insight into the nursery, we are organising two open days at our location in Borculo, Wessel van Eylllaan 3, the Netherlands. Borculo is located about 20 kilometres from the border with Germany, about halfway across the Netherlands.

In the nursery, you can wander through the fields of mother plants (approx. 4 hectares) and the beds where the plants grow in pots (approx. 4 hectares). It is also possible to take part in a guided tour by one of our passionate colleagues. During the tour, you will receive information about the entire process that the plants go through. From the mother plant to the cutting to the plant ready for sale.
We expect you to have a great time in our nursery for 2 to 3 hours. There is the possibility to have coffee, tea or soft drinks.

The plants in Borculo can be purchased during the open days. This applies to a large part of our assortment, but not all plants are in stock in the online shop in Borculo. If you have special requests, please place your order in the online shop by Sunday 6 September 2025 at the latest and select 'Abholung in Borculo - Niederlande' instead of 'Normaler Versand' in your shopping basket. We will then ensure that your order is ready on the day you visit us.

Since StaudenOnline.de was founded, Harry has been the face of the online shop. Harry is retiring this autumn and will therefore be leaving our team. He will still be with us during the open days; a great opportunity to meet him in person.

The open days are on Friday, 11 September and Saturday, 12 September 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm. It is not necessary to register in advance.
If you would like to visit the nursery with your gardening organisation, we will be happy to discuss further possibilities with you in the region.
If you would like more information, please send us an e-mail via the contact page or directly to: info@staudenonline.de or call us on +31 545 725 000.

We wish you a warm welcome!

Yours sincerely,
