Tiger Flower  (Tigridia)

Tiger Flower (Tigridia) is a genus of non-hardy bulbous plants that bloom in summer with striking flowers. The individual flowers only last for one day, but due to the many buds, the plants flower over a longer period. It is best to keep Tiger Flower in a large, spacious pot that is placed indoors in the winter. Keep the plants on the dry side and do not water them. In the spring Tiger Flower can be placed outside in a spot in the sun to light shade.
