General information about Baneberry (Actaea):Baneberry (Actaea) is a genus of plants usually with white torch like flowers. After flowering they produce berries. Some species flower in spring, others in late summer and autumn. Many Baneberries have a lovely scent. They are plants for in a cool position and like plenty of organic matter in the soil. Baneberry grows best in half shade, in normal to moist soil. Some species have nice dark foliage.
