General information about Giant Hyssop (Agastache):Giant Hyssop (Agastache) are strong upright plants with angular stems and lancet shaped, toothed foliage. The many species and cultivars have many colours. They can smell like Fennel and Anise. Giant Hyssop is drought tolerant and does not like wet feet in the winter. Some species of Giant Hyssop flower so profusely that they hardly form new shoots for the next year. Cut these ones well back in September. Butterflies and other insects loves Giant Hyssop.
