General information about Lady's Mantle (Alchemilla):Lady's Mantle (Alchemilla) is a good and trusted ground cover and edge plant. Cut it back strongly after flowering so it doesn't seed but produces fresh new foliage. Because Lady's Mantle has a calm and quite neutral colour, it can be combined with pretty much anything. A beautiful combination is Lady's Mantle and blue Woodland Sage (Salvia nemorosa) as an under growth for pink roses. The foliage of Lady's Mantle mollis is covered in very fine hairs. Dew and rain drops lie on these like little diamonds.Intermediate Lady's-mantle - Alchemilla xanthochlora
