General information about Lemon Verbena (Aloysia):Lemon Verbena (Aloysia) is a genus of small shrub like plants. The leaves have a strong citrus scent and are good to use in the kitchen, fresh or dried. Also a good thee can be brewed from them. Unfortunately, Lemon Verbena is not fully hardy in our climate. They are best grown in pots against a south facing wall which can be kept somewhere frost free in the winter. Prune the plant back before bringing inside. If light and warm enough, the plants will produce new shoots inside and you will be able to enjoy Lemon Verbena through the winter as well.Orange Beebrush - Aloysia triphylla 'Orange'
