General information about Alisons (Alyssum):
Alisons (Alyssum) are closely related to Madworts (Aurinia). Sometimes both names are mixed. Alisons is a plant for in the full sun and well-draining soil which can be quite dry. The small flowers are often a shade of yellow and have a strong sweet scent. Alisons are ideal plants for in a wall or rockery, where they attract lots of insects. Lightly cutting Alison back after flowering will stimulate it to branch out nicely.
