General information about Bastard Indigo (Amorpha):
Bastard Indigo (Amorpha) is a genus of plants you do not often see in the garden. Bastard Indigo has a shrub-like habit and needs pruning back every spring as the flowers form on this year's new shoots. Place Bastard Indigo in the sun or half-shade. The soil may be dry to normal moist. Bastard Indigo is not fully winter hardy and therefore needs some extra protection for the winter.
