Anemone  (Anemone)

Anemone ist eine große Gattung mit hohen und niedrigen Pflanzen für sonnige und schattige Standorte, Frühjahr und Herbst. Die meisten Anemone-Arten eignen sich für normalen bis humosen Gartenboden und Halbschatten. Die niedrigen Arten der Anemone blühen meist im Frühjahr und ziehen sich nach der Blüte in den Boden zurück, aus dem sie im nächsten Frühjahr wieder zum Vorschein kommen. Aus diesem Grund können diese niedrigen Anemonen gut unter Sträuchern oder zwischen höher werdenden Stauden wie z. B. Funkien und Farnen verwendet werden.
Die höheren Anemone-Arten blühen meist im Spätsommer und Herbst und sind sehr vielseitig verwendbar. Sie sollten sie im ersten Winter nach dem Pflanzen abdecken. In den darauf folgenden Jahren ist dies nicht mehr notwendig. Für die hohen Anemonen gibt es viele gute Nachbarpflanzen wie z. B. Kandelaber Ehrenpreis (Veronicastrum), hohe Flammenblume (Phlox), Aster (Aster), Gelenkblume (Physostegia) und Gräser.
