General information about Anemone (Anemone):
Anemone (Anemone) is a large genus with plants for in the sun and shade, tall or small, spring and autumn. Most Anemone do well normal to good garden soil in half shade. The low Anemone usually flower in spring and recede after flowering to reappear the following spring. Therefore, these low growing species suit themselves well for planting under shrubs or between taller growing perennials such as Hosta's (Hosta) and ferns. The taller Anemones (Japanese Anemone) usually flower in autumn and can be placed in a variety of positions. Give these taller Anemones a cover of leaves the first winter after planting. The following years they will be all right. Planted near to these Japanese Anemones, Culver's Root (Veronicastrum), Phlox (Phlox), Aster (Aster), Obedient Plant (Physostegia) and ornamental grasses look good.
