Bartblume  (Caryopteris)

Bartblume ist ein im Herbst blühender, laubabwerfender Strauch mit blauen Blütenrispen (Scheindolden). Sie bevorzugt einen vollsonnigen Standort mit trockenem Boden, aber mit ausreichend Nährstoffen. Im Frühjahr müssen Sie die Bartblume kräftig zurückschneiden, weil sich die Blüten ausschließlich an einjährigen Trieben entwickeln. Die Bartblume macht sich sehr gut im Blumenbeet. Bei strengem Frost ist es zu empfehlen, die Pflanzen abzudecken. Gute Nachbarpflanzen sind u. a. Fetthenne (Sedum) und Witwenblume (Knautia). Bienen und andere Insekten lieben die blühende Bartblume.
