Belamcanda

Belamcanda - Leopard Lily

Belamcanda is a plant with pretty flowers and foliage that looks like that of Iris. The original species had speckled flowers, hence the common name 'Freckle Face'. After flowering Belamcanda produces nice shiny black seeds. Covering the plants in winter with a good layer of mulch will help this half-hardy plant. Belamcanda loves a place in the full sun in a normal soil.
