Bergminze  (Calamintha)

Bergminze ist eine aromatische Staude, die gut winterhart ist. Die Bergminze gedeiht am besten auf einem nährstoffarmen, gut durchlässigen Boden in der Sonne. Manche Arten säen sich selbst aus, aber nie in dem Maß, dass es eine Plage wird. Die Bergminze lockt viele Insekten an und passt gut in Präriegärten oder entlang Wegen, Rändern oder Mauern.
