Bischofskappe  (Mitella)

Bischofskappe ist eine kleine Pflanzengattung, die an die Schaumblüte erinnert. Die Bischofskappe ist ein schöner Bodendecker für einen Platz im (Halb-)Schatten auf normalem bis mäßig feuchtem Boden. Kombinieren Sie die Bischofskappe dort z. B. mit Streifenfarn (Asplenium), Elfenblume (Epimedium) und nicht zu hohen Funkien (Hosta) und Segge (Carex). Es werden einige Arten mit schön gezeichneten Blättern gezüchtet.

General information about Miterwort (Mitella):
Miterwort (Mitella) is a small genus of plants that make you think of Foam Flower (Tiarella). Miterwort is a nice ground cover for a spot in (half)shade in normal to moist soil. Miterwort combines well with Spleenwort (Asplenium), Barrenwort (Epimedium), Sedge (Carex) and not too large Hosta (Hosta). There are a few varieties grown now with nice marked leaves.
