Blaukissen  (Aubrieta)

Blaukissen ist eine Pflanze für Beetrand, Mauer oder Steingarten, die Polster bildet. Sie eignet sich für Standorte in der vollen Sonne mit normalem, etwas kalkhaltigem Boden. Wenn Sie das Blaukissen nach der Blüte zurückschneiden, bekommt es dichte Polster und einen gesunden neuen Wuchs. Zu viel Nässe im Winter sorgt dafür, dass das Blaukissen ausfällt. Sorgen Sie darum für eine gute Entwässerung. Verwenden Sie das Blaukissen in Kombination mit z. B. Zwerg-Schwertlilie (Iris pumila), niedriger Flammenblume (Phlox) und Sonnenröschen (Helianthemum).

General information about Aubrietia (Aubrieta):
Aubrietia (Aubrieta) is a compact, mat forming plant for the border edge, on walls or in the rockery. They are plants for in the full sun and like a slight alkaline soil. Cutting Aubrietia back after flowering stimulates mat- or mound forming and healthy re-growth. If too wet in winter, you may lose your plants. Ensuring good drainage will eliminate this. Use Aubrietia in combination with Dwarf Iris (Iris pumila), Creeping Phlox (Phlox) or Sun Rose (Helianthemum).
