Blaustrahlhafer ist ein horstbildendes Gras für gut durchlässigen Sand- oder Kieselboden in der vollen Sonne. Es ist eins der größten Gräser, dessen Blätter einen graublauen Schimmer haben. Die hellgelben Blütenähren stehen elegant über den Blättern. Blaustrahlhafer lässt sich prima mit z. B. Fetthenne (Sedum) und Fackellilie (Kniphofia) kombinieren. Sorgen Sie für eine gute Entwässerung, vor allem im Winter.
