False Nettles (Boehmeria) are beautiful plants that are mainly grown for their foliage. The flowers are not spectacular but at close inspection are quite pretty. False Nettle has foliage that looks like that of the common nettle. They are related, but fortunately do not sting. False Nettle is a good plant for in the shade.
