Bohnenkraut ist eine Gattung von sowohl einjährigen (Satureja hortensis) als auch mehrjährigen (Satureja montana) Pflanzen. Die Blätter werden bei Hülsenfrüchten und Fleischgerichten verwendet, wobei die der mehrjährigen Art pikanter schmecken als die der einjährigen Art. Pflanzen Sie das Bohnenkraut in einen durchlässigen Boden in der vollen Sonne, in den Garten oder in einen Topf. Das Bohnenkraut ist vor allem wegen seiner Blüte eine echte Bienenpflanze.
