The last few years has seen a lot of new variegated forms come to market. Great Forget-me-not flowers with pretty blue or white flowers in spring and prefers a position in half-or full shade in humus rich normal soil. It will tolerate sun as long as the soil is moist enough. The varieties with grey in their foliage withstand more sun than the creamy white ones. Great Forget-me-not is a strong plant and very suitable as a ground cover. The only maintenance needed is removing the dead foliage in spring. At the same time give them a hand full of compost.
