It will tolerate sun as long as the soil is moist enough. The varieties with grey in their foliage withstand more sun than the creamy white ones. Great Forget-me-not is a strong plant and very suitable as a ground cover. The only maintenance needed is removing the dead foliage in spring. At the same time give them a hand full of compost.
