Carline Thistle

Carline Thistle  (Carlina)

Carline Thistle (Carlina) is a spiny plant with milk-sap. They require full sun and dry to normal soil. Carline Thistle is useful in floristry, fresh or dried. Do you have a spot in full sun which is often dry, why not try Carline Thistle together with Spurge (Euphorbia), Creeping Baby's Breath (Gypsophila repens) and Carnation (Dianthus). After planting, water regularly until the plant is established. After flowering Carline Thistle will produce seed heads which in ideal sites will ensure next year's plants.
