General information about Chamomile (Anthemis):Chamomile (Anthemis) is a perennial which produces a profusion of daisy like flowers. Apart from the usual yellow flowers, new varieties are now available in white and cream. Chamomile likes a position in the full sun in a well-draining, not too fertile soil. Too much fertilizer and the plant grows limp and lanky. Chamomile is a good cut flower and in the past the flowers were used in dyeing wools. Cutting back in the end of August promotes good root growth and ensures nice strong plants in next year. Chamomile combine well with Woodland Sage (Salvia nemorosa), Yarrow (Achillea) and Red Hot Poker (Kniphofia).Chamomile - Anthemis hybrida 'E.C. Buxton'
