Coniogramme

Coniogramme - Bamboo Fern

Coniogramme is a genus of about 50 different ferns. They have a creeping rhizome and upright foliage. Many species of Coniogramme have regularly spaced yellow bands on their leaves. Coniogramme is not fully hardy in many parts of the UK. Better to protect them in winter with a layer of leaves. Coniogramme is not fussy about its soil as long as it is not too dry and plant in half shade.
