General information about Corydalis (Corydalis):
Corydalis (Corydalis) is a large genus of plants with fern-like, deeply cut foliage and small trumpet like flowers in varying colours. Some species of Cordydalis will self-seed. There are clump forming and tuber forming species of Corydalis. The tuber forming species will lose their foliage after flowering and re-appear the following spring. There are sun- and shade lovers. Corydalis is suitable in a natural garden or as under planting of shrubs.
