Crane Orchid  (Habenaria)

Crane Orchid (Habenaria) belongs to the genus of orchids. They originate from all over the world. A lot of species of Crane Orchid are unfortunately not hardy in our climate. Best is to grow them in deep pots with well graining soil in the half shade. In the summer give them plenty of water and in winter keep them frost free and water sparingly. Crane Orchid has fleshy tubers and lance shaped leaves above which sit the stunning flowers.
