Curry Plant

Curry Plant  (Helichrysum)

Curry Plant (Helichrysum) is instantaneously recognizable by the scent of curry. The plants are very useful in the kitchen. Curry Plant needs a spot in the full sun in a dry and well-draining soil. Especially too much water in winter is bad. Plant them on a slope or in pots which can be brought inside in winter. After flowering it is good to cut Curry Plant back. This will keep it healthy and compact. Plant Curry Plant together with other herbs such as Thyme (Thymus), Oregano (Origanum) and Hyssop (Hyssopus).
