Dierama is one of about 40 evergreen perennials from the Iris family. It is a cormous plant which is not fully hardy everywhere in the UK. Luckily they also do well in a pot. Dierama wants a moist soil in the summer and a dryer one in the winter. Dierama is a very elegant plant with flowers in many colours. It can take a few years before Dierama shows its full potential.
