Dreiblattspiere  (Gillenia)

Dreiblattspiere ist eine kleine Staudengattung. Sie wachsen langsam und benötigen guten humusreichen Boden. Am liebsten wächst die Dreiblattspiere im Halbschatten oder in der Sonne. Den ganzen Tag in der vollen Sonne verträgt sie nicht gut. Die Dreiblattspiere bildet schöne sternförmige Blüten mit roten Kelchblättern und rötlichen Stängeln. Es ist eine langlebige Pflanze, die sowohl in Gesellschaft als auch freistehend genutzt werden kann. Im Herbst färben sich die Blätter der Dreiblattspiere wunderschön gelb und orange.

General information about Bowman's Root (Gillenia):
Bowman's Root (Gillenia) is a small Genus of perennials. They are slow growing and need a fertile, humus rich soil. Bowman's Root prefers a position in the sun to half shade although full sun all day long will not be tolerated. Bowman's Root forms nice star-like flowers on red stems. It is a long living plant for in the border or solitary. In autumn the foliage of Bowman's Root will colour nicely to yellow and orange.
