Ehrenpreis  (Veronica)

Von Ehrenpreis gibt es viele Arten und Größen. Alle Arten lieben die Sonne, sind aber ansonsten nicht sehr anspruchsvoll, was den Standort angeht. Die niedrigeren Ehrenpreis-Arten möchten allerdings gerne einen durchlässigen Boden. Es gibt Ehrenpreis meistens in den Farben blau und weiß, aber es kommen auch rosa Arten vor. Die hohen Ehrenpreis-Arten dürfen im Beet nicht fehlen und können dort schön mit z. B. Mädchenauge (Coreopsis), Sterndolde (Astrantia), Margerite (Leucanthemum) und Garbe (Achillea) kombiniert werden. Die niedrigen oder sogar liegenden Ehrenpreis-Arten können gut im Steingarten verwendet werden, z. B. zusammen mit Grasnelke (Armeria) und Reiherschnabel (Erodium).
