Eichenfarn (Gymnocarpium)

Eichenfarn (Gymnocarpium)

Eichenfarn  (Gymnocarpium)

General information about Oak Fern (Gymnocarpium) (Gymnocarpium):
Oak Fern (Gymnocarpium) is a small genus of deciduous, ground covering ferns. The foliage of Oak Fern sits at right angles to the leaf stems and so forms a triangle. If they are happy in their location, they will spread through their rhizomes without becoming invasive. Let them go and they will form a beautiful carpet. Oak Fern likes a spot in the half shade in normal to moist soil, somewhat alkaline.
