General information about Magellan Rye Grass (Elymus):Magellan Rye Grass (Elymus) is a genus of clump forming grasses which spread by means of its creeping rhizomes. A bit like the much-dreaded twitch grass. The favourite species for in the garden is 'magellanicus' which is not invasive and forms a beautiful clump of blue/grey to silver foliage.
