General information about Sea Holly (Eryngium):
Sea Holly (Eryngium) is a large genus of thistle like perennials. They all attract bees and butterflies and need a dry spot in the full sun. They will grow in just about any soil. Sea Holly includes species with nice silvery grey or blue flowers. Most Sea Hollys are also good cut flowers, either fresh or dried.
