General information about Hemp Agrimony (Eupatorium):Hemp Agrimony (Eupatorium) is a genus of hardy and not so hardy perennials and shrubs. The species used in the garden are hardy and form large, strong plants with nice dense, flat topped clusters of flowers. Hemp Agrimony is very suitable for in the back of the border or along large ponds. They flower quite late and attract lots of insects. They prefer a sunny position but half shade will also do. Hemp Agrimony likes a fertile soil which is always moist. A good dose of compost for these large plants in spring is always appreciated. Because of its strong stems, Hemp Agrimony will stay upright through the winter and provide a nice winter-silhouette. Good neighbour plants for Hemp Agrimony are Leopard Plant (Ligularia), Meadowsweet (Filipendula), Purple Loosestrife (Lythrum), Mountain Fleece (Persicaria amplexicaulis) and Garden Speedwell (Veronica longifolia).Ague Weed - Eupatorium cannabinum 'Plenum'
