Färberkamille

Färberkamille  (Anthemis)

Färberkamille ist eine Staude mit einer Fülle an Blüten, die der Margerite ähneln. Neben gelb wurden im Laufe der Jahre auch weiß und zartgelb blühende Färberkamille-Sorten gezüchtet. Ihr bevorzugter Standort ist die volle Sonne und gut durchlässiger, nährstoffarmer Boden. Bei zu viel Nahrung werden die Pflanzen schlapp. Sie können sie eventuell im Frühjahr mit Reisig stützen. Die Färberkamille ist eine gute Schnittblume, früher wurden die Blumen zum Färben von Wolle verwendet. Wenn Sie sie Ende August zurückschneiden, laufen die Wurzeln kräftig aus, so dass auch im nächsten Jahr eine starke Pflanze entsteht. Färberkamille lässt sich sehr gut mit Steppensalbei (Salvia nemorosa), Garbe (Achillea) und Fackellilie (Kniphofia) kombinieren.
