False Chamomile (Boltonia) look most like tall Asters (Aster) and are useful in the background of a border. False Chamomile is not fussy, but do like some sun and do not like drying out. Some added compost in spring is very much appreciated. False Chamomile is a good cut flower. False Chamomile looks good alongside other tall plants, such as Phlox (Phlox), Tree Mallow (Lavatera) and Switchgrass (Panicum).
