Frauenmantel  (Alchemilla)

Frauenmantel ist ein guter und verlässlicher Bodendecker und eine Randpflanze. Vollständiger Rückschnitt nach der Blüte sorgt für einen schönen, frischen, neuen Frauenmantel und verhindert, dass die Pflanze sich unerwünscht selbst aussät. Durch die ruhige und relativ neutrale Farbe des Frauenmantels ist die Pflanze mit fast allen anderen zu kombinieren. Eine besonders schöne Kombination ist Frauenmantel und blaue Steppensalbei (Salvia nemorosa) als Unterpflanzung von rosa Rosen. Wenn Tau- oder Regentropfen auf dem Blatt des Frauenmantels liegen bleiben, zeigt sich ein prächtiger Anblick.
