Freilandgloxinie ist meistens ziemlich winterhart und gedeiht gut auf nährstoffreichem Boden. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Freilandgloxinie im Winter nicht zu nass steht. Pflanzen Sie sie in ein etwas abschüssiges Stück Garten bzw. Beet oder in Töpfe. Letzteres ist im Winter praktisch, aber auch in anderen Jahreszeiten, wenn das Wetter eine Zeit lang schlecht ist.
