Galega - Goat's Rue

Galega is a genus of 6 species from the legume family. They are very hardy and form clumps of deeply feathered foliage and upright panicles with small flowers. They are not too fussy about their position as long as they get plenty sunshine. Galega is a fast growing, large, open plant that requires a fair bit of space. Galega is ideal for in the natural garden. You might want to give it some extra support with a few canes. Campanula, Nepeta, and Phlox are good neighbour plants for Galega.
