Gedenkemein  (Omphalodes)

Gedenkemein ist eine Gattung von Frühjahrsblühern, die gerne im Halbschatten auf einem humusreichen, normal feuchten Boden stehen. Zu trockenen Boden mag das Gedenkemein überhaupt nicht. Die Pflanzen können gut als Bodendecker eingesetzt werden. Im Frühjahr treibt das Gedenkemein mit einer schönen, frisch-grünen Farbe aus. Es sind robuste, pflegeleichte Pflanzen, die sich ausgezeichnet mit u. a. nicht zu hohen Farnen, Lungenkraut (Pulmonaria), Maiglöckchen (Convallaria), Frühlings-Platterbse (Lathyrus vernus) und Flattergras (Milium) kombinieren lassen.
