Perennials – German Names

Via this page you will find all plants under the German name of the genus to which they belong.
The descriptions of the plant genera in this category are in the German language.
If you want to sort the plants by their English names and with an english description, please click here.
If you prefer to use the botanical names, please click here.

German names, in contrast to botanical names, are unfortunately not specific and unique. There are garden plants that have the same German name. In addition, some German names vary from region to region. If you click on Index German Names you will see an overview of all German plant names used in our webshop.

If you want to search for a specific combination of characteristics, such as colour, month of flowering and height, please use the filters.
