Giersch  (Aegopodium)

Giersch ist eine Pflanze für einen nährstoffreichen und, wenn möglich, kalkreichen Boden. Die Pflanzen laufen mit ihren Wurzelstöcken stark aus, aber die bunte Giersch-Varietät wuchert viel weniger als die wilde Art. Die bunte Form ist auch im Topf ein Blickfänger. Bitte rechtzeitig die Blüten der Pflanze abschneiden, damit sie sich nicht selbst aussät.

General information about Goutweed (Aegopodium):
Goutweed (Aegopodium) is a plant for a fertile, preferably alkaline soil. It spreads vigorously, although the variegated variety is much tamer than the wild ones. The variegated form of Goutweed also looks very good in a pot. Cut away flowers in time to prevent self-seeding.
