Goat's Rue

Goat's Rue  (Galega)

Goat's Rue (Galega) is a genus of 6 species from the legume family. They are very hardy and form clumps of deeply feathered foliage and upright panicles with small flowers. They are not too fussy about their position as long as they get plenty sunshine. Goat's Rue is a fast growing, large, open plant that requires a fair bit of space. Goat's Rue is ideal for in the natural garden. You might want to give it some extra support with a few canes. Bellflower (Campanula), Catmint (Nepeta), and Phlox (Phlox) are good neighbour plants for Goat's Rue.
